Cereal List

My favorite cereal is Fiber One Honey Clusters. It has 6 sugars (which is a little more than suggested) but it has 13 grams of fiber and only 1.5 grams of fat in a 1 cup serving. I add this to a 1/4 cup of almonds and it really fills me.

Here are some more options:

Kellogg's all bran
General mills fiber one
Kashi Go Lean (not crunch),
Kashi Good Friends
Kellogg's bran flakes
kellogg's fiberwise
nabisco shredded wheat n' bran
nabisco shredded wheat (1 biscuit)
kellogg's nutri-grain wheat
general mills total or wheaties
nabisco fruit wheats
quaker life

*Avoid corn based and puff cereals.

  1. Jillybean you crack me up! Thought you'd like to know that I went from a dress size 16 to a six and have maintained it for the last 10 years and ONE food item made a huge difference. I switched out the white flour for sprouted whole grain flour that digests as a vegetable. Sprouted flour wasn't available 10 years ago so I had to make my own, a pain - BUT Shiloh Farms now sells it and it is amazing. Imagine making pancakes for you...and the kics that digest as a veggie!! Also, a new clean snack food, sprouted 100% whole grain pretzels are being sold by UniqueSplts.com and I get them at my health food store. Check it out and pass the word. Also, there isn't anything "natural" about Pepperidge Farms breads...I know because I called them and ask. Good luck and check out the non diet I follow at essentialeating.com.
